Dropped Emails

If you have been sent to this page, it's likely a result of asking the question, "I used to receive emails from the Louisiana Conference, but lately I haven't been getting any! What happened?"

This page will try to help troubleshoot the problem. 

There are three easy steps. 
 

Step 1: Make Sure You are Still Subscribed

The first step is to double-check your email and make sure you are still subscribed to our various distribution lists. Go here and input your email address.

If the system does not recognize your email, it will ask you to choose which distribution list you'd like to subscribe to.

If you are already subscribed, the system will alert you that your email address is already in the system. 

Step 2: Check Your Junk Mail

So, you're still subscribed, but you're still not receiving emails?

Time to check that spam folder!

We know you didn't intend to flag emails from the Louisiana Conference as junk or spam, but sometimes email clients make decisions for us. Super annoying, right?

There are times when email clients, such as Google, see email distribution lists as "junk". The solution? Head over to your spam or junk folder and search for: Louisiana Conference, or brtapp.com (which is the Brick River client, our email vendor) 

Tell your email client that these messages are not junk. We wish you could tell your system that these emails are awesome, but anyway....

Telling your email client that emails from the Louisiana Conference (or for that matter, brtapp.com) are not junk will not only help the messages arrive in your inbox, the action also helps minimize the mistake in the future. 
 

Step 3: Contact Us
 

So, you checked your email address and found that you are indeed subscribed. You've also checked your spam and junk folder, and can't find anything. And, you're not getting emails.

Argh! 

Send us an email and we can troubleshoot it to the best of our ability. 

We want to make sure you stay connected to the news, opportunities and witness of the Louisiana Conference. Communicating the mission of our Conference and our churches is extremely important to us. Please note that we will do all we can to resolve the issue.
