United Methodist Heritage; Living Our United Methodist Beliefs

This class aims to examine the role of doctrine within the United Methodist Church.

Participants will explore the history of the United Methodist Church, while focusing on the Wesleyan understanding of grace and how it became a key aspect of the movement.

The class will also cover how John Wesley's theological understanding of God inspired Wesley to create the practical structure and disciplines for the first Methodists.

The means of grace are also discussed in detail, including how these practices lead to holiness of heart and life.

Overall, the class provides participants with a deep understanding of the theological and historical foundations of the United Methodist Church and its practical implementation through the means of grace.
