Rev. Karl David Wood, Sr.

On January 29, 2021, Rev. Karl David Wood, Sr., 92, went to be with the Lord at his eternal home. Rev. Wood was kind and strong always stood for God's way, not my will but thy will be done. He was God’s man. He was faithful and loyal to his Lord, serving all the surrounding area for 60 years spreading God’s ministry.
Rev. Karl Wood, Sr., was survived by a loving girlfriend: Millicent Canter; three devoted sons: Karl David Wood, Jr., (Debbie), Manuel Duane Wood (Mary), and Robert Daniel Wood; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law: Daphne; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three spouses: Lindell Sharp, Helen Fornea, and Cynthia Byrd; one son: Thomas Darryl Wood; his parents: Robert and Hazel Wood; two brothers: Robert “Bob” Wood and John Talmage Wood; and a daughter-in-law: Rose Mary Wood.
