Rev. Bob L. Lawton, 90, a resident of Slaughter, LA, died on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was a minister for the Louisiana Conference of UMC for over 40 years. He is survived by two daughters, Lady Pierson and her husband Michael; Robin Krumholt and her husband Jeff; one son, Doug Lawton and his wife Pam; sister Yvonne Wagner; brother Gilbert Lawton; eight grandchildren: Tommy Lawton, Brad Lawton, Kristi Cummings, Kelli Gehling, Sarah Lawton, John P. Lawton, Jason and Jeremy Krumholt, and Page Krumholt; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara; parents A.C. and Ione; brothers A.C. and Jimmy; son John; and grandson Chris. He received his Master's in Theology from Southern Methodist University. He enjoyed gardening, playing piano, hunting, and fishing.
