Reverend Jayne Trammell-Kelly, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Winnfield, passed away Friday, August
2, 2013, after a long battle with leukemia. Memorial services were held Wednesday, August 7 at 10:30 AM, with Dr.
William Peeples of Shreveport officiating.

Rev. Trammell-Kelly grew up in Dubach, Louisiana; attended Louisiana Tech, and was graduated from Centenary
College with a degree in Christian education. She earned her masters degree in divinity at Southern Methodist
University and returned to Centenary where she taught and served as the director of the School of Church Careers and
Chaplain of the College. She served churches in Dallas, Monroe, and Arcadia before her appointment to Winnfield in
2009.

She is survived by her daughter Meghan Trammell-Kelly and her father Steve Kelly; sisters Ann Golman and husband
Morell and Janis Caverlee and husband Jim; brother Robert Trammell; uncle Al Trammell and wife Liz; and several
nieces and nephews.

Also left to cherish her memory are members of the staff and congregation of Winnfield First United Methodist Church
and her many friends who enjoyed her hugs and shared her laughter and tears. Her love for her Lord and passion for
her church will live in the hearts of all who knew her.
