Sister Harriet Anna Taylor was born September, 1859, and was the wife of Rev. C. A. Taylor. She accompanied her husband to his appointments up to the time of her death, A few weeks before her death she was anxious to come down to Rosedale, that she might be with her relatives. Her husband took, her to Baton Rouge. Rev. P. Clark and Brother Chapman visited her upon her arrival at Baton Rouge. She desired Brother Chapman to read to her some portion of God’s Word, and pray with her. After prayer, he asked her concerning her hope of heaven. She said: “I am not afraid to die. I have a firm hope in Jesus.” She has left two children and’ a husband to mourn their loss.
