| Joseph Johnson departed this life January 28, 1906, age 70 years. He was a faithful worker for 24 years in the ministry, and served the following charges; Waxie, Lafayette, Olevia, Waxia again and Palmetto, where he laid his armor down to fight no more. “Soldier rest thy warfares o’er.” |
