|Rev. Travis Larkins was born 70 years ago in the Western Section of Louisiana. He entered the Ministry at an early age. He served the Louisiana Conference 25 years with great credit. He was a fine character, noted for his Christian attitude. He served the following charges with much credit:
Waxia and Peter Prarie, Cote Branch and Grand Cote, Pineville and Avoca, Hubertville, Morgan City and Bayou Boef, Morgan City, Mansfield, Lake Charles, St. Peter (Jeanerette), Ab-beville, Abbeville and Briggs, Cane River and Grand Cove, Melville and Wiley.
He retired in 1925 and passed to his rest at New Iberia, Louisiana in 1940.
