Reverend Claude O. Hall, age 81, of Bernie, Missouri, died October 14, 1973, in a Dexter, Missouri hospital. He was born at Mammouth Spring, Arkansas July 18, 1892. He was the son of the late Reverend and Mrs. W. E. Hall. He came from a long line of Methodist preachers. His father, grandfather, great grandfather were all Methodist ministers. He was ordained by the North Arkansas Conference held in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas in 1923 and served several churches in that Conference including Huntingdon Avenue in Jonesboro, Luxora, Gentry, Green Forest and Hardy. He transferred to the Little Rock Conference and served Foreman, Star City, and Hawley Memorial in Pine Bluff. He transferred to the Louisiana Conference and served the following churches: Glen-mora, Boyce, Choudrant, and Kinder. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Hall of Bernie, Missouri; two sons: Dr. B. B. Hall, Tucson, Arizona, and C. O. Hall, Jr., House Springs, Missouri; two daughters: Mrs. Maxine Boulter and Mrs. Juanita Anderson, both of Fairfax, Virginia; and one brother, Reverend Eugene H. Hall of Blytheville, Arkansas. Funeral services were conducted October 16, 1973 at 2:00 PM in the United Methodist Church at Bernie, Missouri, by Reverend Marshall A. Bridwell and Reverend David Rice. Burial in Lane Cemetery at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. |
