For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day. II Timothy 4:6-8 Mrs. Corine B. Hayward was born May 28, 1890 at Glencoe, Louisiana. In 1907 she married Rev. George C. Hayward, and they were the parents of eight children. Four are now deceased. Mrs. Hayward was a devoted wife and mother and remained active throughout her husband’s ministry in the Louisiana Conference from 1915-1953. Survivors are three daughters, one son, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. |
