|Laura B. Holliday, passed away April 3, 1989. My mother, was born May 20, 1899. She was married to the late Rev. John William Holiday, who served North Mississippi Methodist Conference and also Louisiana Methodist Conference. We moved to Louisiana Conference in June of 1950, serving the Cameron charge.
In September of 1950 a car wreck claimed the lives of my father, my sister, Roberta, Charles Geanes, a boy who lived with us, and also Willard Rue of Cameron. At that time my mother moved back to Mississippi to raise her sons, George L. Holliday, Memphis, TN., Johnny and Preston Holliday both of Ripley, and Her daughter, Yvonne Mauney.
Let me take this time to say Thanks to the Louisiana Conference, also to the Christian friends on the Cameron Charge for the love and support they have shown my mother and family over the many years.
