Hall, Frances (Mrs. Claude O.)

Mrs. Frances Hall, widow of Rev. Claude 0. Hall, was born in Paris, Tennessee, October 27, 1907. She was the daughter of Ruffus Aden Smith and Pearl Edwards Smith, and was raised in a Christian home and was educated in the Henry County Public School System. Frances enjoyed the life of a Methodist preacher’s wife. She graced the parsonages and made her contributions to her husband’ s ministry. She believed in United Methodism and the contribution it was making to build God’s Kingdom upon the earth. She died August 21,1988 in Paris, ‘ Tennessee. Her memorial service was held in McEvoy Funeral Home by the pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Rev. Clarence E. Hare, Jr. She was buried in Maplewood Cemetery. Her survivors are Brother Raymond Smith and Sisters Ora Mae Brown and Ruby Griffin. |
