|Lilla Tisdale, 88, of 320 N. Ripley Road, died Tuesday, July 17, 1990, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born March 15, 1902, in Shongaloo, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Jim and Ada McKinzie Hilburn. Formerly of Springhill, Louisiana, she was a resident of El Dorado, Arkansas for 17 years. She was a housewife and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. W. 0. Tisdale, a United Methodist minister.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Clara Phillips of El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Chambers of Magnolia and Mrs. Lela Baucum of Shreveport, La.; two brothers, Clell Hilburn of Springhill, La. and George Hilburn of Cotton Valley, La.; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Revs. Don Nolley and Larry R. Williams officiating. Burial was in Wares Chapel Cemetery in Haynesville, La., under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
