McElroy, Eloise Daniels (Mrs. Talmadge)

7/7/2004

Jan. 7, 1911 - July 7, 2004

“For I am ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
II Timothy 4:6-7

Eloise Daniels McElroy was born to the late Walter and Lillie Williams Daniels on January 7, 1911. She departed this life on July 7, 2004 in Hammond, Louisiana.
She was united in holy matrimony to Rev. Talmadge E. McElroy on April 23, 1933 and happily served by his side, as he served more than fifteen appointments during his forty years of active ministry. To this union, no children were born.
She joined the church at an early age and gave her service to many clubs and boards. Sister McElroy was an Eastern Star, Funeral Home Director, Church Mother, and mother and friend to all, wherever God placed her.
She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Walter Daniels, Jr. and sister-in-law, Mary Belle Daniels, of Amite, Louisiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her husband, Rev. Talmadge E. McElroy, three brothers, and four sisters, preceded Sister McElroy in death.
