Berry, Ammernee Armwood (Mrs. E.L.)
2/4/2009
Sep. 22, 1928 - Feb. 4, 2009
GOD called Ammernee Armwood Berry home on Wednesday afternoon, February 4, 2009 at her home in Stone Mountain , Georgia .
She was the youngest of 7 children, born in Zachary , Louisiana . Her husband, Rev. E. L. Berry, parents Sherman and LouAnn Armwood, five brothers, and one sister preceded her in death.
She was educated in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. She was a Beautician by trade. She was a devoted wife and mother. She worked diligently side-by-side with her husband in the church. As a minister's wife, she not only worked with the different committees in the church, she played the piano and directed the choir(s) for the churches they served that did not have a musician. Most of all, Ammernee was a woman of God and had no problem telling the world about the Good News of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by a loving daughter, Y. B. Nobles; a grandson, Charles Nobles, III; a son-in-law, Charles Nobles, Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.
She was loved very much by her family and friends. She will be terribly missed.
