This full-day workshop is available to Louisiana United Methodist Church pastors, seminary students, conference staff, and other church leaders.
The United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana is providing a limited number of seats at no cost.
Understanding the Dynamics of Poverty is highly recommended for anyone who works with those raised in or near the poverty line, including clergy, teachers, social workers, employers, community volunteers, and anyone who seeks to make a difference in their community.
HOPE/The Way to Work has led the way in research-based poverty reduction education and strategies for twenty years. Since the workshop’s inception in 2009, over 400 companies and organizations across the state and region have gained a greater understanding of the behaviors and barriers faced by their members, clients, employees, and neighbors.
