Save the Dates: Annual Conference 2018

August 07, 2017
Save the Dates!
The dates for Annual Conference 2018 have been secured.
Mark your calendars for June 6-9 in Shreveport/Bossier.
Annual Conference is our time of holy conferencing together as a body. It includes worship, singing, prayer, learning, conversation, celebration, and praise to God.
And yes, there are also business matters, including reports of our shared missions and ministries, as well as a look ahead to where God is calling us next.
As in year's past, we will gather on the campus of Centenary College, specifically inside the Gold Dome.
The theme and other specifics have yet to be announced but please make sure you are following the Louisiana Annual Conference's Facebook page and be sure to sign up for the Louisiana NOW emails for more information on Annual Conference 2018, as it is announced.
In the meantime, we remind you of Bishop Harvey's call for all of us to use Bold Imagination.

"Just like explorers – do we go east or west, north or south? Making our way in an unchartered territory can be very disorienting," Bishop Harvey said during her Episcopal Address. "One thing is certain, we need each other so we have to trust each other as we navigate this new territory. Like Lewis and Clark, we have reached the Rocky Mountains carrying canoes. Canoes will not help us get across the mountains. Canoes will not help us deal with the giants on the other side of those mountains! Are we bold enough?"
