Louisiana NOW Podcast: Holding People Together, A Conversation with Rev. Kirby Verret

The latest Louisiana NOW podcast features an interview with Rev. Kirby Verret who pastors Clanton Chapel United Methodist Church in Dulac. Clanton Chapel is the only Native American United Methodist Congregation in Louisiana and Verret has been pastoring the church for over 30 years. Clanton Chapel is located in Dulac, a community hard hit by Hurricane Ida. We headed there to get an update on the recovery process and while there, had a chance to sit down with Verret. You’ll find his optimism both infectious and encouraging.
