Laity Day Retreat

The Board of Laity would like you to save the date for the day-long laity retreat February 24th from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm at the Wesley Center.
Receiving people with grace is an essential part of practicing of hospitality. Equally important is learning to accept hospitality from others, as we go out into the world as Christ’s disciples. Christ sends us out to engage with those we meet, in ways that invite others to see Christ in action.
You’re invited to join the Board of Laity and presenter Demi Prentiss, http://www.radicalsending.com, on February 24, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, at the Wesley Center in exploring what “being sent” can mean for individual disciples.
What can congregations accomplish when the members know that Christ has sent them? Bring a team from your congregation to imagine how you might transform the world, starting in your neighborhood.
