Flood Bucket Locations

August 30, 2017
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is currently working with disaster coordinators and early response teams in Louisiana and Texas to provide relief to the many people whose lives have been impacted by hurricane/tropical storm Harvey.
One way churches in Louisiana can help is to assemble cleaning kits, also known as flood buckets. These kits contain the supplies needed to enable people to begin the overwhelming job of cleaning up after a flood or hurricane.
If you have assembled a cleaning or hygiene kit, please send them to the following churches so they can begin distributing them to those in need:
St. Luke-Simpson UMC
1500 Country Club Road
Lake Charles, LA
(337) 474-1500
Henning Memorial UMC
404 S. Huntington St.
Sulphur, LA
(318) 451-2970 or (318) 282-2790
DeQuincy UMC
301 E. Center St.
DeQuincy, LA
(504) 717-8633
SPECIAL NOTE: Please make sure to contact the church prior to arrival or shipment.
