How do they support the calling of the one they love while faithfully living out their own calling as well? Clergy spouses must encourage each other to faithfully pursue their own individual soul care and callings as well.

Clergy Spouse Retreats are designed to allow participants to take a break and delve into Scripture. Through interactive lessons, conversations, personal free time and prayer -- participants are invited to come and consider fresh ways that Christ longs to fill you up.

If you are a spouse and have never attended a retreat, this is the one. You will gain special insight as spouses of itinerant clergy, as our speaker will relate to us with her experiences as the spouse of a former pro football quarterback.

You see, our retreat leader this year is Kate McCown. Katy is a writer for Proverbs 31 Ministries, national speaker, president of She Laughs Ministries, and wife to former New Orleans Saints quarterback, Luke McCown. Katy left her job as a television news reporter to join her husband on their adventure in the National Football League. 14 years, 6 kids and 6 teams later... it's safe to say the road has been anything but predictable.

Through the ups and downs of life, Katy has found God's Word to be her constant stream of security and strength; and she has a passion for teaching others these truths. The everyday Katy loves a strong cup of coffee - or two - and her car is never clean. Never ever.
