AC2016 is now June 8-11

Mark your calendars! The dates for the 2016 Louisiana Annual Conference have been changed!

The new dates for AC2016 are Wednesday, June 8 (Starting late afternoon) to Saturday, June 11, 2016. The event is scheduled to end on Saturday in the early afternoon.

Next year's conference will return to the Gold Dome on the campus of Centenary College in Shreveport.



Our featured speaker and guest preacher for AC2016 will be Rev. Mike Slaughter, lead pastor of Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church in Ginghamsburg, Ohio.

When Mike arrived at Ginghamsburg Church in 1979, worship attendance hovered at 90 with 118 members and an annual budget of $27,000. Now, 4000 attendees on average worship weekly at Ginghamsburg and the multi-million dollar budget helps resource a faith community committed to serving the poor, lost and disenfranchised.

Under Mike’s leadership, Ginghamsburg Church has become known as an early innovator of small group ministry, the Church “media reformation” and cyberministry.
