Forty local pastors and associate members serving the Louisiana Annual Conference gathered Feb. 6-7 at The Wesley Center for prayer, fellowship, learning and encouragement during “A Time Apart.”
Participants learned a strategic process of working through challenges and opportunities, and received “life-giving” feedback from their peers. Several pastors shared real issues facing their churches, and in response, the group offered ideas and suggestions to bring back to their congregations.
On Saturday, Bishop Cynthia Harvey joined this gathering of clergy that plays a vital role in leading conference churches. She offered words of support and encouragement, sharing future hopes and dreams for pastors and laity in the Louisiana Conference.
