Gueydan UMC dedicates community prayer garden and labyrinth

Gueydan United Methodist Church recently celebrated the dedication of a long-awaited prayer garden, with a labyrinth as its focal point.

Members of the community, both clergy and lay, gathered on Nov. 16 to dedicate the James Joseph (Jack) and Allen Doss Martin Garden, which will be used by the entire Gueydan community. Rev. Steven Spurlock, Lake Charles District Superintendent, joined in the celebration.
