Methodist/Presbyterian children's crafts fair raises funds for Imagine No Malaria
Children from New Life Community Church (the joint ministries of Luling United Methodist Church and First Union Presbyterian Church) recently held a fair featuring arts and crafts made by the children of the church to raise money for "Imagine No Malaria." During the crafts fair, a variety of bracelets, purses, paper spinners, headbands, painted canvases, postcards and bookmarks were sold.
Malaria is treatable and preventable, but it claims 655,000 lives every year. "Imagine No Malaria" www.ImagineNoMalaria.org is a global ministry of The United Methodist Church striving to raise funds and awareness to end preventable deaths from malaria in Africa.
