Covenant Bible Study events slated for April 8 and 29
Pastors, are you looking for a way to engage your congregation and leaders in Biblical study and experience?
Make plans for you, your entire staff and church leaders to experience Covenant Bible Study, an initiative of Cokesbury.
Louisiana Conference events will be held April 8 at 7 p.m. at Covenant UMC in Lafayette, and April 29 at 10 a.m. at First UMC in Baton Rouge, 930 North Blvd. to experience Covenant Bible Study.
Join with pastors and church leaders along with Covenant Project Manager David Teel (Baton Rouge location) as we experience what "Covenant" is, together.
The word "Covenant" speaks to a promise between God and humankind to live in a faithful and loving relationship. But knowing how to fulfill our end of that promise isn't always clear.
Covenant Bible Study engages its members in conversations about this unique and special relationship, as well as our relationships with each other and the world around us, as we study the Bible together.
The goal is to deepen our shared understanding of scripture while helping us respond together to God's call to faithful life in Jesus.
It's a living, breathing conversation – one that's woven into the fabric of our lives. And we invite you to join in it.
Please RSVP to David Tidwell to reserve space for your church by emailing dtidwell@cokesbury.com or by calling (225) 364-1661. See flyer.
