DISCIPLE Bible volunteers needed for prison ministry

During the 2012 Louisiana Annual Conference, DISCIPLE Bible Outreach Ministries of Louisiana was founded to take DISCIPLE Bible Study into state prisons.

With support from conference United Methodist Men, Mike Grace, a member of St. Andrews UMC in Baton Rouge, is chairing the effort of recruiting volunteers for this vital ministry.

Volunteers should have completed or should currently taking a DISCIPLE Bible Study course. If you wish to serve, but have not taken the course, you can volunteer as a support person. Training and guidance will be provided to all volunteers.

Individuals are needed to serve in Angola Correctional Institution, Dixon Correctional Institution, Louisiana Correctional Institution for Women and Swanson Youth Development Center in Monroe.
