Dulac Center marks 81st year

Dulac Community Center celebrated its 81st anniversary Nov. 15-16 with its Bayou Dulac Culture & Heritage Festival.

The event featured handmade crafts, a Native American Village, music, food and an appearance by the Bayou Eagles Native American Dance Group.

The center—established in 1932-- provides many services to the Dulac community, helping those in need, advocating for those “whose voice is not heard,” promoting the establishment of a more just society, and improving the lives of families and individuals.
