Pre-Conference Reports, Annual Conference 2021

Plans are quickly coming together for the 2021 Session of the Louisiana Annual Conference, May 22, with our digital partners, GoodNews TV.
Even during this year of unpredictability and change, your leadership, and the work of your ministry area, has been instrumental in continuing and strengthening the mission and work of the church – to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Reports of Boards and Agencies for the Pre-Conference Report are due by March 13 and may be submitted by clicking here.
You may also submit your report via email, adhering to the guidelines outlined below, to journal@la-umc.org.
Nominations for Boards of agencies that are related to and approved by the Annual Conference are also due by March 13.
If your report includes sub-sections prepared by other members of your ministry area, it is your responsibility to coordinate and collate that material.
Try to include in your report the following:
All reports must be submitted in writing to appear in the Pre-Conference Report and the Conference Journal.
If, however, your area has an item or resolution for action (Section d of your report), please submit your request to Kyle Wooldridge by April 22 so that it can be scheduled.
Guidelines for Submitting
2021 Pre-Conference Reports via Email
Create your document using the following in Microsoft Office Word:
Reports received after March 13, are not admissible in the Pre-Conference Report according to Conference Rule Article I, section E that states “All Councils, Boards, Commissions and Committees of the Louisiana Conference shall send their Annual Conference reports, resolutions, and recommendations to the Conference Secretary seventy-five (75) days before the opening date of the Annual Conference session”.

- Accomplishments and celebrations of your work that contributed significantly to leading others into an abundant life in Christ; engaging communities – locally and globally; learning, living and telling the Gospel story; and reaching out and drawing in people from all walks of life resulting in vibrant, alive and vital congregations
- Measurable goals for the coming year and how they contribute to our preferred future
- Concerns and challenges facing your work/ministry area
- Items for action/vote by the Annual Conference

- Font – Arial 10 point
- Margins – 1 inch all sides
- Paper – Letter size (8 ½ X 11), portrait orientation
