COVID Guidelines

We cannot wait to be with all of you in-person at the 2023 Annual Conference.

We are ready to welcome you to the River Center, and we pray that you have a safe journey to Baton Rouge.

The good news is, as it stands now, COVID numbers in Louisiana remain low, according to the Department of Health and the CDC.

We are asking all of our delegates and guests to be mindful of their health and the safety of others.

If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate)

Everyone, regardless of vaccination status.

  • Stay home for 5 days.
  • If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.
  • Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)

If you:

Have been boosted
OR
Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months
OR
Completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months

  • Wear a mask around others for 10 days.
  • Test on day 5, if possible.

Do no harm.
Do good.
Stay in Love with God.

COVID vaccines are highly effective at preventing infection, severe illness, and death. Additionally, boosters broaden and strengthen protection against COVID. Full vaccination continues to be the best way to protect yourself.

We thank you in advance for your willingness to follow guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) to protect the safety of attendees.

Do I Need to Wear a Mask?

As it stands now, there is no need to wear a mask inside the River Center during the annual conference session, nor is there a need to wear one at either of the local churches in Baton Rouge where we will be gathering for the Memorial Service and the Celebration of Ministry Service.

Should that change, we will communicate via all of our communications channels, including this website.

Please note that government mandates and regulations, venue and church protocols are subject to change.

Please do not enter the building if you have been in contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 5 days, or if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:  fever, cough, headache, fatigue, shortness of breath, or other respiratory symptoms. If you test positive or experience symptoms, we recommend you follow the isolation guidelines issued by the CDC.
