All clergy under appointment are invited to attend a clergy convocation, April 23 at Broadmoor United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, from 10am - 4:30pm.

Together, we will rediscover how we faithfully live out our life and work now and into the future.

All those who plan to attend are asked to register by April 16th.

This convocation will help lay the foundation for Annual Conference 2018 by inviting us to enter into conversation about our differences, both perceived and real. We will also share, learn and practice how to have healthy conversations that empower our congregations and ourselves. All clergy are strongly encouraged to make this a priority.

Bishop Robert Schnase will be our guest as he leads us in a conversation about Border Crossings - perceived, literal, and those in our soul.

We will focus on learning who we are, where we are from and how that shapes us for ministry in these changing times in the life of our world, our country, our communities and our church.

The Order of Elders, the Order of Deacons, the Division of Local Pastors and Associate Members will be our host for the event in Baton Rouge, LA.

The cost for this event is $10, which covers a working lunch.
