CCYM/DCYM
CCYM (Conference Council on Youth Ministries) youth and adults meet each summer for Summer Meeting (formerly LYMO) and each January for Winter Meeting to plan Conference youth ministry events and retreats for the upcoming year. Our Louisiana CCYM plan and lead each annual event with the guidance and support of the CCYM adults.
CCYM is made up of elected DCYM (District Council on Youth Ministries) representatives.
DCYM is made up of 2 representatives from each church in a designated district.

CCYM
Conference Council on Youth Ministry
The Conference Council on Youth Ministry (CCYM) strives to Inspire, Teach, Equip and Connect youth in the Louisiana Conference.
Youth are elected by their peers to strengthen youth ministry in the local churches and districts of the annual conference through worship, fellowship, discipleship, mission and stewardship. Any youth serving on DCYM for at least one year may be a member of CCYM. Learn more from your District Coordinator!

District Council on Youth Ministry
- to assist local churches in ministry for, with, and by junior-high and senior-high youth more effectively;
- to serve as a channel of communication and involvement among the youth ministry in the local churches, the Conference Council on Youth Ministry (CCYM), and the general agencies of the church;
- to initiate, plan and facilitate youth programs for the district to influence the total programming of the district and conference as it relates to the concerns and needs of youth, and to take primary responsibility for promoting and raising money for the Youth Service Fund (YSF).
