Cambodian Youth Camp 2019
Have you ever wondered what the early church was like as described in the book of Acts? The people were "on fire" with the Holy Spirit and the church grew mightily despite the pervading pagan culture. You can experience the power and excitement of that Spirit-filled movement in our times.
Diane Riche, of Saint Timothy United Methodist Church of Mandeville, invites you to join us for the Cambodian Youth Camp July 17-30, 2019, our mission to Cambodia next summer and witness the love of Christ in action.
Cambodia is 97% Buddhist, but the Christian movement is growing. The churches are filled with young people, as the majority of the population is less than 30 years old. Extreme poverty and disease continue to plague the country, but these young Christians are full of joy and hungry for Christian training and leadership. Our team will join Methodist missionaries and youth leaders in directing this camp designed to empower the youth through Bible teaching, preaching, small group training in Christian living, worship, prayer, and lots of fun.
In addition to facilitating the youth camp, we will visit ongoing mission projects, conduct VBS programs with children, and worship with local congregations. Tours of the Genocide Museum, the Killing Fields, and the Angkor Wat temples are also included.

The cost of the mission/person will be approximately $3000-3500, depending on airfare and fundraising. For additional information, please contact Diane Reich at 985-845-2147 or diane845@gmail.com. Come share the love of Christ with us.
