The Baton Rouge District is one of six in the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The local church and its connection to other United Methodist churches and ministries is the heart of the our ministry and remains, to this day, one of the strengths of what's known as the "connectional system" of the United Methodist Church.
People work in fellowship to minister to their own congregations, the community, and people in need around the world.
