2020 Statistical Data Entry

The Book of Discipline states that one of the administrative responsibilities of the pastor is "to give an account of their pastoral ministries to the charge and annual conference according to prescribed forms." Statistics are to be reported to the conference, compiled and checked for accuracy.

The bishop and the cabinet use statistical trends to assist in the clergy appointment process. The results assist local churches in identifying ministry areas that are extraordinarily successful and in determining the success of ministry and discipleship plans.

The information also is used by annual conferences to calculate local church apportioned funds and by the general church to apportion local conferences.

Some Tips:

  • Do not wait until the last minute. The longer you wait the busier the system becomes and you can encounter bandwidth problems.
  • If you are entering for more than one church, you must enter one church at a time.
  • Do not open two browser windows and enter churches concurrently.
  • Even though the online system is available 24/7 during the time described above, there may be no one to offer technical assistance after normal business hours.
