The term 'traditional worship' refers to the style of liturgical worship that developed in the 1940s and 1950s.
    - It is often characterized by a clearly defined liturgy.
     - The music style is often heavily weighted with hymns from the United Methodist hymnal, though other songs may be sung.
     - A major element of the service is the sermon.

Most worship services in Louisiana United Methodist churches are based on the traditional format. If you have a question about the worship style for any service at any of our churches, please contact the pastor of that church.
