You may be familiar with additional toolbars – such as Google or Yahoo - that can be added to your browser. You can now add a Louisiana Conference Toolbar to your browser. The toolbar comes with the following features.
- A direct link to the conference site, as well as links to the major subsections of the site.
- Search engines for the web, our conference site, umc.org, all UMC sites, and the Bible.
- An RSS feed from UMNS.
- Current weather.
- An email notifier to let you know when mail has arrived.
- Christian online radio player
You are also able to add other items to the toolbar as you wish, such as a calculator, translator, and calorie counter - as well as direct links to your programs such as Office programs.
Versions are available for IE and for Firefox.
Note: when installing the toolbar, make sure you leave the 'Automatic updates enabled' box checked so that the toolbar will automatically be updated if we need to change our links.
