I am excited about this new year in the life of our district.  We have so many opportunities for new ministry in this post-Katrina era.  With the merger of churches and new life given to station churches, we will offer more ministry and greater opportunities for Christ in our city.

We continue to welcome those persons coming in to minister among us.  These include new clergy serving our churches and laity from all over the United States coming to rebuild homes.  We are booked to capacity for the foreseeable future.  I am so happy that the world has not forgotten our district and continues to help in so many ways.

May God continue to bless all of you that work such long hours to build the Kingdom here in New Orleans.
