The vision of the Louisiana Annual Conference is to be a community of local churches who make disciples for Jesus Christ. Each United Methodist church is a separate group of people, but we are bonded together by our connectional system and common beliefs. We are also working towards the same vision.
The 1996 General Conference said that the Mission of the Church was to make disciples of Jesus Christ. The Louisiana Annual Conference recognizes the importance of the local churches in the disciple-making process. |
