The Office of Church Extension and Transformation seeks to extend the ministry of Jesus Christ by planting new churches and working with existing churches to transform ministries.

Demographics
     The Louisiana Conference has a contract to receive services from Percept , a demographics company.  Their information is more detailed than the information from the Research division of The United Methodist Church.  Each district has access to Percept 's services.  While it will be used for overal district planning, check with your district office to see if they can access information for you. 
     If your church is serious about outreach to the community (and all churches should be), you may want to check out the other products they have to offer.  Since our Conference is a client, the cost for an individual church to purchase their products is much cheaper.
