Whether experiencing awesome summer camp fun or a church retreat on a getaway weekend, Church Camp is a place set apart from our fast-paced world. When you step foot on any one of your three United Methodist Camp and Retreat Centers in Louisiana, you experience a welcome sense of hospitality--a place set apart where your life will be changed. The sincere prayer of the leadership teams at all three camps is that you will claim a special place in your heart for YOUR church camp because of what God is doing there.

This summer alone, Camp Istrouma, Uskichitto Retreat Center, and Caney Conference Centre have more than 20 different events to choose from over seven weeks! Awesome activities to be found at camp in a safe environment include: Canoeing, Low and High Ropes Courses, Climbing Wall, Swimming, Exciting Worship and Interactive Bible Study, Archery, Great tasting food, Sports, Games, and much more.

You can count on seeing old friends at camp and expect to make new ones. Those coming to camp this summer will have the opportunity to grow closer in their journey with Jesus Christ, and to see Him touch their lives in amazing ways. We look forward to seeing you this year!

There are 3 camps in the Louisiana Conference: Caney Lake, Istrouma, and Uskichitto. The Wesley Center is in Woodworth.


	Caney Conference Centre is located in the North Louisiana city of Minden on beautiful Caney Lake, where pine trees surround 17 cabins, a recreation meeting hall, dining room, outdoor recreation area and swimming in Caney Lake. 	Camp Istrouma is a retreat center and summer camp located 10 miles northeast of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The camp features 167 acres of magnificent south Louisiana natural woodlands. Some of the outstanding features of the camp grounds are its miles of beautifully marked nature trails along Sandy Creek with its bluffs and beaches. There is also a seven-acre recreational lake which provides many high adventure water activities year round. The camp is owned and operated by the United Methodist Church. 	Uskichitto is located six miles west of Kinder at LeBlanc. The 120- acre facility is nestled in a Louisiana pine forest bordered by Whiskey Chitto Creek. Air-conditioned facilities available are five cabins with varying accommodations, dining hall, indoor pavilion, sports court, outdoor worship areas, trails and a swimming pool.
