Welcome to the Baton Rouge District where we are proud to host our Bishop and Provost, the Disaster Recovery Center, and many of our Conference staff in the Conference Headquarters Building on North Boulevard. Our district also includes three Wesley Foundations (LSU, Southern, and SLU), the United Methodist Foundation Building, Camp Istrouma, and outreach such as Hope Ministries, as well as 87 churches of all sizes.

In 2008 our District Ministry Team will award the first recipients of the LeJeune Grants to help strengthen our African American Churches in Baton Rouge and the La. Conference.
