LOUISIANA ANNUAL CONFERENCE
REGULAR SESSION – FIRST DAY – SUNDAY, JUNE 3, 2007
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, BATON ROUGE
7:30 P.M.

The Celebration of Remembrance and Holy Communion began with Pre-Service music performed by Mr. Dan Talbot, organist and a Brass Quintet.  The combined choirs of First UMC Baton Rouge and Broadmoor UMC Baton Rouge were lead by Dr. David Shaler.  Dr. Dona Lusted and Mr. John Paul McGee accompanied.  Solos performed by Mr. Brandon Hendrickson and Rev. Cynthia Wilson.  The service was led by Bishop William Hutchinson, Rev. Dr. Chris Andrews, Reverends Kem Alexander, Clifton Conrad, Derrick Hills, Monica Monk, Dr. Gwynn Shamblin, and Rev. Beth Love Tu’uta. Mr. George K. Anding lead us in the prayer for illumination.  Bishop Dan Solomon delivered the message entitled “Whether” based from Romans 14:7&8

The Closing Voluntary was given by Mr. Talbot.  Bishop Hutchinson led the Sending Forth Service and dismissed the Conference with a blessing.
